You have two main options for getting to Gandum Village:

1. By highway (A6, with tolls):

• Distance: About 102 km.

• Time: Approximately 1 hour.

• Cost: Includes toll (check the Via Verde website for the latest price) and around €10.50 in fuel, depending on your car's consumption.

2. Via the National Road (N4, toll-free):

• Distance: Around 81 km.

• Time: Approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

• Cost: No tolls and around €8.40 in fuel.

Comparison:

• The highway is quicker (about 20 minutes longer), but it comes with toll costs.

• The national route is cheaper and also shorter (21 km less), but it takes a little longer.

Choose what makes the most sense to you: speed or savings. Whichever way you choose, we're waiting for you!

We have electric vehicle charging points and charge 30ct per kWh. Most of our electricity comes from our solar panels and the rest we buy from the Coopérnico cooperative, always renewable energy. In other words, you can travel freely, without the burden of emissions and with the certainty that you won't be stranded.

For the more sporty, there's always the possibility of cycling from Lisbon! It's about 110km or 6 hours of pedaling.

There are train connections to Vendas Novas station (25km from Gandum) or Casa Branca station (16km from Gandum). From there you can either ask for a cab or talk to us about the possibility of a transfer.
