Welcome to Gandum Village, a 4-star rural hotel located in Montemor-O-Novo. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Reservations and Cancellations

We always require a pre-authorization or payment in advance to confirm your reservation. In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the check-in date, this amount will be refunded in full. Cancellations made after this period or in the event of a no-show will be subject to a cancellation fee of the total amount of the reservation.

Restaurant and Food Services

Our restaurant is open to the public and the local community, serving a variety of options carefully prepared with local produce. We recommend booking your table in advance to guarantee your culinary experience with us. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can adapt our offer to your needs.

Events and Weddings

We offer a variety of options for events and weddings. With our dedicated team and idyllic facilities, we can provide an unforgettable setting for your special event. Please get in touch to discuss details and availability.

Pet Policy

Your four-legged friends are welcome. They must, however, be kept on a leash at all times when they are on our premises, whether indoors or outdoors. As well as having other animals on the farm, we also have lots of small trees and vegetables growing. What's more, we have to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests (remember that not everyone loves other people's animals). No matter how big or small, friendly or shy your pet is, please keep it on a leash at all times, thank you! If you would like your pet to stay with you, we have that possibility too. Our daily rates are EUR 25 per night per dog.

  • REMARKS:

    • Daily rates are in addition to the regular price of your stay;

    • Guests must provide their own food and bedding for the animal;

    • The hotel reserves the right to impose additional restrictions and require up-to-date proof of vaccination.

Guest responsibility

Guests are responsible for their own behavior, but also for that of the guests accompanying them, more specifically, for the orderly conduct of their guests attending an event, workshop or other group activity that they are in charge of, even if they are not staying at Gandum Village.

Check-In and Check-Out

Our hotel welcomes you for check-in from 3 p.m., allowing you to enjoy our cozy atmosphere from that moment on. We ask that you check out by 12 noon so that we can prepare the next guest's stay. Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us in advance!

Swimming Pool, Coworking and Other Facilities

We encourage you to use our facilities, including the swimming pool and coworking space, to further enrich your stay with us. We ask that all safety and usage rules are respected in all areas of Gandum Village. The supervision of children is the responsibility of their adult companions. The coworking space requires advance booking to guarantee availability.

Courses and Activities

We offer a wide range of activities and events, such as courses, workshops, tastings or parties. In general, these activities must be booked and paid for in advance and, unfortunately, no-shows are not refundable.

Liability and Compensation

Although we take measures to safeguard the safety of all our guests and their belongings, Gandum Village cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal property. We ask that you use the safe in the accommodation unit, or the safe service at reception, to safeguard your valuables. Damage caused to rooms or other areas of the hotel during your stay will be assessed and may result in additional charges.

Pool rules

Please read the pool rules and opening and closing times carefully to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The pools are not supervised, but are monitored and treated with suitable products to maintain pH, transparency and chlorine levels.

Noise restrictions

We ask that you respect other guests and keep noise levels to a minimum after 9pm. This rule applies particularly to the bedroom and common areas.

Smoking in Spaces

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the rooms and all enclosed facilities of the hotel. Designated smoking areas are available throughout Gandum and we ask that you only use these areas. Smoking in open spaces in the countryside poses a very high risk of rural fire, especially in summer. We ask that you pay the utmost attention to poorly extinguished cigarette butts and never throw them on the ground. Not in summer, not in winter.
